"Continuing on to the Khumbu Valley, we pass impressive bridges, beautiful villages and coniferous forests."
In the heart of the Himalayas, there is a magnificent place, known for its monastery and stunning views of Mount Everest. This place is an important stop on the route to the summit of Everest, as it offers climbers a chance to rest and adjust to the altitude.

Its monastery is one of the most important religious centers in the region, hosting the annual Mani Rimdu religious festival. During this festival, monks perform religious dances and rituals, attracting devotees from all over the region.

This place is not only a religious centre, but also a place of incredible natural beauty. The view of Mount Everest from here is simply incredible, with the sun rising over the top of the mountain, creating a breathtaking sight.

Its history is just as interesting. The monastery was destroyed and rebuilt twice, once due to an earthquake and once due to fire. Despite the difficulties, the local people managed to rebuild the monastery and keep their tradition and faith alive.

In this place, religious faith meets religious faith, and in this place, religious faith meets religious faith.
