Pumori

"Pumori, at 7,161 metres, is a popular destination for climbers in the Himalayas."
Pumori, at an altitude of 7,161 metres, is one of the most popular mountains for climbers in the Himalayas and offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes. Its name means "Windswept Daughter" in Tibetan, and the name perfectly captures the harsh weather conditions at the summit. The first successful ascent of Pumori was made in 1962 by a team from New Zealand, and since then it has attracted challenge-seeking climbers from all over the world.

Climbing Pumori is not easy. Climbers face steep slopes, cold weather and the risk of avalanches, but the reward for those who reach the top is priceless: unique views of snow-capped mountains and a sense of achievement. In addition to climbing, visitors can enjoy hikes around the base of the mountain, soaking up the natural beauty and majestic scenery of the area, which is bursting with Himalayan air.
