The city's colourful markets are bustling with life, offering an authentic experience of everyday Nepali life.
Despite the challenges the city has faced, including the devastating earthquake of 2015, Kathmandu remains an enchanting destination that harmoniously blends the past with the present, offering visitors a unique rooftop experience.
