Millennium Camp
Millennium Camp is a stop on the ascent to Uhuru peak.
In the heart of the African continent, there is a unique destination for hiking and adventure lovers. This place, known as "Camp Millennium", is a stopping point for climbers seeking to conquer the summit of Africa's highest mountain.
The camp is located at an altitude of 3,810 meters and is one of the last stops before the summit. It is known for the stunning views it offers visitors, with the vast expanse of the African savannah stretching out beneath their feet.
The camp was named at the dawn of the new millennium as a symbol of hope and renewal. Since then, it has become one of the most popular stops for climbers, offering them a chance to rest and prepare for the final ascent.
Despite its isolation and austere surroundings, the camp has basic amenities for visitors. There are tents for overnight accommodation, as well as facilities for first aid in case of emergency. In addition, guests can enjoy hot meals prepared by the team at the camp.
