Kilimantzaro-Tanzania

Kosovo Camp
Approaching the top of Kilimanjaro, we meet Kosovo Camp.
Kosovo Camp, at an altitude of about 4,800 metres, is a crucial stop for climbers approaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. At this altitude, conditions become extremely challenging, with thin air and low temperatures, but the magnificent views of the valleys make up for it for those who visit.
The name of the camp came from Tanzanian guides and porters, who associated it with the harshness of the conditions, likening them to those of Kosovo. Despite the difficulty, the camp is a point of regrouping and preparation for the final push to the top.
Kosovo Camp serves as a point of reflection and anticipation as climbers build up courage and energy to conquer Africa's highest point. The experiences they live here are etched deep in their memories as part of an adventure that cannot be forgotten.
